STHJ Series A Type Paddle Molasses Mixer
STHJ Series Type Paddle Molasses Mixer is widely used in feed, cereal, food, chemicals, medicine and pesticide industries, and suitable for mixing mash feeds (adding molasses) in feed mill, so that all the ingredients can be uniformly distributed and the quality of the compound feeds can be ensured.
STHJ Series Type Paddle Mixer is a horizontal continuous type mixer. It is featured of new rotor structure, good mixing homogeneity and no any dead angle during mixing. The SJHA4A Double-circle Paddle Mixer
Muyang double-circle paddle mixer is independently researched and designed by Muyang and wins international patent technologies. It has advantages of quick mixing time, high homogeneity and no residues.
The rotor of the SJHA4A Double-circle paddle mixer is equipped with two layers of paddles (4 big paddles with special angles in the outer layer and 4 small paddles with special angles in inner layer). The outer big paddles drive the materials to turn over leftward and rightward in fast-flow zone and make continuous circular movement in the through at all directions, keeping material mix evenly under the effect of strong convective mixing; the small paddles also greatly increase the convective mixing at slow-flow zone. Main Parts on Muyang PHGM200 Rice Extruder
The PHGM200 rice extruder mainly consists of a belt pulley and a hood shield, a main motor, an extruding device, a cutting device, a disassembling tool, an extruder base, a lubricating oil-way and a motor base etc.
Cutting device
By dint of side hanging, the cutting device can fasten the replacement of knives. The cutting device is composed of a knife assembly, a power unit and a supporting bracket. Generally, hard blades are used for this cutting device, and they can be adjusted forward and backward or upward and downward.
Extruding device
The extruding machine device is composed of a bearing pedestal, a feeding section, the first barrel section, the assembly of extruding chamber, a screw rotor and a discharging device.
Installation of electric control part
Adapted electric control cabinet of the equipment should be put on the chute side of the bypass, better to be 0.8 m ~1.0 m away from the bypass, without any spacing object in between.
It is incorrect to install the control cabinet far away from the principal machine or even right in the face of the material outlet of the feed extruder, or on the side of the main motor, because the operators must pass by the material outlet of the extruder to carry out operation. This violates the common practice that "it is inadvisable to stand in the front of the material outlet of the extruder" and may cause potential safety hazard.
For the installation of on-site power supply, the connection can be carried out according to the drawing of electrical control, and the motor can be adjusted for its forward and backward rotation. There is an indication mark of rotation direction on the hood shield of each motor.
In addition, for the layout of wire casing for the principal machine, we should consider that there may be water on the ground around the extruding machinery, so the wire can be laid overhead or embedded under the ground instead of placing at the ground beside the extruder, otherwise long period of water invasion into the wire casing may cause disastrous aftereffect and the exposed wire casing on the ground is also not favorable for site cleaning.

Muyang MUZL350T Pelleting Machine
This pelleting machine mainly consists of a feeder, a conditioner and a principal machine of pellet mill (mainly including a main motor, an Assembly of rotor, a ring die, press rollers, an assembly of cutting knives and a lubrication system).
The principal machine is composed of main motor, magnetic plate, Assembly of rotor, pelletizing chamber (including assembly of press roller, assembly of front plat and ring die), machine body, door and so on, Fig 1.5 shows the section of MUZL350TA type pellet mill.
Working procedure:
The mash with water content less than 18% as required enters the feeding auger from the pelletizing chamber in a proper feeding amount through adjusting the rotating speed of the frequency control motor, and then enters the conditioner. The material will be sufficiently mixed with steam in the conditioner by stirring paddles of the conditioner, and molasses or oil can be added through the feeding inlet for molasses if necessary. The temperature of compound mash is normally controlled within 65~95℃and the humidity 14~17% based on different formulas, and finally the material enters the pelletizing chamber and is pelletized to pellets by the press rollers and the ring die.

Muyang Automatic Feeder
This Muyang automatic feeder mainly consists of a box body, a feeding roll, an adjusting plate, a magnetic gate mechanism, an impurity discharging hopper and others, as shown in Fig. 1.
Working principle
The material enters the trough of the feeding roll from top and is brought to the material outlet through a rotary roll and an adjusting plate, therefore, the feeding is continuous and uniform. A plate magnetic separator is mounted near the material outlet and can remove iron impurity from materials.
The feeding amount can be automatically adjusted. The control principle is as follows: A sensor detects the working current of the grinding machine real time, and transmits the signals to the controller of frequency conversion motor of the feeder, and then adjust the opening of the adjusting plate and the rotating speed of the frequency conversion motor through comparison with set current, so as to automatically control the feeding amount.
Installation procedures, methods and attention points
For installing the principal machine of the feeder, flanges are all used for jointing the upper inlet with the gate and the lower outlet with the hammer mill. A soft connection is recommended and the machine body should be kept horizontal. After installation, the feeding roll should be checked whether it rotates in the box body flexibly without any hindrance.
It is recommended to hang the controller onto the wall in the power distribution room for the grinding machine, and the screen is about 1.6m apart from the ground, for the convenience of operation and maintenance.
The current transformer delivered together with the controller should be mounted in the power distribution cabinet for the grinding machinery, and any one of power lines L1, L2 or L3 for the grinding machine should pass through the mutual inducting coil.

Functional Inspection Prior to Test-run
Before leaving the manufacture plant, a perfect test-run has already been conducted to the mixing machine. The initial test run in the user's factory cannot be done until following checks have been conducted. There should be no abnormal contact inside the mixing chamber or between the other accessories. All connecting points must be checked carefully to ensure there is not any looseness. Check the rotors for flexible rotation, and make sure there is not any abnormal sounds resulted from blockage, collision or abrasion etc. Check the rotors for their rotating directions matching with that indicated, for this it may need to start the motor for a short time; meanwhile, check the motor for any change in its rotating direction.
Check whether the emergency stop switch is in good working condition or not, safety switch of the access door As a part of the safety control of the mixing machinery, whether the safety switch of the access door works normally or not is directly related with the safety of the mixer, so the safety switch should be frequently checked for its functioning. Check the discharge gate mechanism for flexible rotation. When opening or closing the gates, there should be no abnormal sounds resulted from blockage, collision or abrasion etc.
Before each commissioning or after each unexpected interruption, the residual materials in the mixer chamber must be emptied. Only when the access door is closed and other related equipment is running, the principal machine of the paddle mixer can be started, and do not feed materials into the mixer until the rotor is running normally. Inch the mixer to check for any abnormal situation. If any, correct it. The temperature rise of bearing should not higher than 35℃ when ideal running for 0.5h, and the lubricating and sealing function still perform well. Check the running condition of the motor, which should be consistent with that required in its instruction. Screws, fasteners and lubricating points should be checked for normal performance after ideal running for 1 hour.

Extruding Chamber and Feeding Device on Muyang PHG135 Extruder
Being an important part of extruder, extruding chamber is composed of main shaft, extruding screw rod, tapered pressure ring, wear ring and extruding sleeve. The extruding screw rod adopts segmental structure, equal diameter and variable pitch form to meet the demand for flexible assemble of different screw rods according to different raw materials. Configure the tapered pressure rings with different diameters to adjust and control the temperature and pressure in the chamber during extruding process. The extruding machine sleeve is composed of a feeding extruding chamber part, two middle extruding chamber parts and a discharging extruding chamber.
The feeding device on the extruding machinery is composed of mixing chamber, screw feeder, retarding mechanism and variable frequency motor. The rotating paddle type rotor prevents the blocking in feeding hopper. The main parts of extruding machines are screw rod and extruding chamber, the material sprayed out from the outlet with the help of the heat energy and the high pressure, at this moment, the temperature and pressure has nosedived, the material will expanded due to the abrupt change from the high temperature and pressure to the normal temperature and pressure, the starch structure will be destroyed due to the evaporation of water, the expansion degree is related not only to the starch content but also the temperature, pressure and water content.

Ring Die of MUZL 610TW Type Pellet Mill
It is essential to select ring die with correct material quality, structure, and dimension of die holes for improving the efficiency of the pellet mill. The ring die is usually made of forged material of high chrome alloy by vacuum heat treatment after being machined, and it is of good abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance.
Types of die hole structure of the ring die include:
Standard cylindrical holes
Holes with a conic inlet
Special die holes such as square holes, conic holes, and special number of holes
The ring die should be replaced as following procedures:
1. Ensure the power of the pelleting machine is cut off, the cutting knives are screwed off from ring die and the pelletizing chamber is opened before replacement.
2. Install the lifting device of the ring die to the lifting beam at the top of the machine body, ensure that the eye ring is fixed, and tighten the butterfly bolt to prevent the lifting beam from drawing out entirely.
3. Remove the rotary feeding cone and conic die flange.
4. Regulate the press roller to the place far away from the ring die.
5. Dismount the access door at both sides of the machine body so as to remove fastening bolts of the ring die.
6. Loosen the fastening bolts of the ring die
7. Screw in three top die bolts of ring die, and turn same number of turns by the wrench, thus the ring die can be ejected out of the driving flange.
8. Take out the whole ring die from the driving flange and place it on the press roller.
9. Lift the ring die by lifting device until pushing it wholly out of the pellet mill, scratching the surface of press roller should be avoided during this process.
10. Check whether the scraper on the front support is worn excessively or not after removing the ring die.
Installation of the ring die(see fig.2.4、2.5、2.6、2.7):
The ring die should be installed as following procedures:
1. Turn off the power, adjust the cutting knives at a required distance to ring die for preventing the ring die.
2. The procedures for ring die assembling are contrary to the disassembling procedures.(for the details see as follows).
3. Install the lifting device of the ring die to the lifting beam at the top of machine body and ensure that the eye ring is fixed, and then tighten the butterfly bolt to prevent the lifting beam from drawing out entirely.
4. Regulate the press roller to the place far away from the ring die.
5. Remove the access doors from two sides of the pellet mill, and screw the top die bolts into the bolt holes on driving flange of ring die.
6. Clean the end face, conic matching surface and inner surface of the ring die completely, and thoroughly clean the conic matching surface of driving flange of the ring die and end face of rotor.
7. Install the four centering pins to the ring die and then fasten it.
8. Fasten the tackle hook on the screw hole of the ring die and lift the ring die to corresponding installation height.
9. Move the ring die to the driving wheel flange, rotate the rotor to allow the centering pin of the ring die to align with the through hole of the rotor and ensure it is equally installed in the driving wheel flange of the ring die.
10. Fix the ring die with the nut, and then disassembly the lifting device of the ring die.
11. Screw in the other four fastening bolts for ring die and screw down them with centering-pin fastener of ring die by torque wrench on the cross in order. Refer to Fig. 2.8 and Torque List of Ring Die Fasteners for torque value.
12. The ring die must be assembled upright and aligned by dial indicator.
13. Screw the top die bolt slightly until it reaches the ring die.
14. Adjust the clearance between the three press rollers and the ring die properly(please refer to the section 2.3.8.4 for the adjustment of the press roll).
15. Install cleaned feeding conic pulley fixing ring and rotation feeding cone to the outer end face of the ring die successively.
16. Install the access door at both sides of the pellet mill body.
17. Close the pellet mill gate.
18. Adjust the cutting knives to required distance from the ring die.
The ring dies of pelleting machines can be installed positively and reversely, however, it is suggested to install the ring die reversely in regular for operation such as after producing 1000 tons, so that the surface of the ring die and press rollers can be worn equably. It is recommended to use our fasteners for the ring die and apply lubricating oil or grease on the screws for a longer service life of the ring die when fastening.

Main Structure and Working Principle on Pellet Mill
This machine mainly consists of a feeder, a conditioner and a principal machine of pellet mill (mainly including a main motor, an assembly of rotors, a ring die, press rollers, an assembly of cutting knives, roller adjusting device, a lifting device for the ring die and a lubrication system) (Fig 2.1).

The working procedure is shown as follows:
The mixed mash enters the feeding auger from the pelletizing chamber in a proper feeding amount through adjusting the rotating speed of the frequency control motor, and then enters the conditioner. The material will be sufficiently mixed with steam in the conditioner by stirring paddles of the conditioner, and molasses or oil can be added through the feeding inlet for molasses if necessary. The temperature of conditioned compound mash is normally controlled within 65~95℃ and the humidity 14~18% based on different formulas, and finally the material enters the pelletizing chamber and is pelletized to pellets by the press rollers and the ring die.

Installation of Extruder
The principal machine of extruder is the heaviest equipment in the whole system, and also considering the main motor, thus it is demanded highly to the bearing capacity of foundation. The extruder cannot be directly put onto foundation during installation, it is required to underlay a frame, which is made of channel steel according to the size of extruder base, at the bottom of equipment base, and use the expansion bolt to fix with foundation. Ensure the plainness of the whole frame when making the base frame, especially the principal machine base and the mo tor base must be at the same plane. This is especially important for the extruding machine with driving device of elastic coupling directly connected with reducing gear box.
Because the main motor and the reducing gear box are directly connected with a drum type coupling, it is necessary to ensure the coaxiality between the output shaft of main motor and the input shaft of the reducing gear box during installation. Comparatively, it is convenient to adjust the position of main motor for adjusting the coaxiality.
The coaxiality between the two shafts can be also ensured by lying channel steel under the extruder.
Because the main motor and the reducing gear box are directly connected with a drum type coupling, it is necessary to ensure the coaxiality between the output shaft of main motor and the input shaft of the reducing gear box during installation. Comparatively, it is convenient to adjust the position of main motor for adjusting the coaxiality.
The coaxiality between the two shafts can be also ensured by lying channel steel under the extruder.

Muyang Chaoyue SWFP Series Fine-grinding Hammer Mill
"Chaoyue" Series Fine-grinding Hammer mills can be used for grinding various granular feedstuffs, such as corn, sorghum, wheat, crumbled oil meals and etc. They are applicable for grinding granular raw materials in various large- and medium-sized livestock feed mills, alcohol plants, citric acid plants, food factories and cooking oil mills.

Safety Points While Operating the Grinding Machine
It is prohibited to open the operating gate until the grinding machine has been fully stopped; the safety mechanism of the access door is equipped with a locking cylinder for prevention of opening and a proximity switch for prevention of starting up after the door is opened. Do connect the electric circuit and air piping as required, ensuring that the cylinder locks the access door when the equipment is running, and the door cannot be opened until the equipment is stopped absolutely, and the equipment cannot be started up when the access door is opened.
It is forbidden to approach the rotating components by finger during running of the grinding machinery. The inspection, maintenance and cleaning work can only be done after the pulverizer rotor has been completely stopped.
If the coupling bolts between the convex cover and the grinding chamber and between the discharge outlet and the air pipe are not removed, do not pull the handle of the manual hydraulic pump so as to avoid any damages of the equipment.
When choosing the grinding machines with a hydraulic opening mechanism, it is a must to ensure there is no leakage at joints of each pipe, to avoid any danger due to pressure loss during operation. Customers should not adjust the guiding counterbalance valve at will, so as to avoid possible dangers.
When using the hydraulic opening mechanism to open the top cover for repair, do not turn the unloading valve of the manual pump at will, so as to avoid personal injury resulted from falling of the top cover.
Before power cut-off, do not open the junction box of the motor, so as to avoid personal injury resulted from electric shock. Set the rotating direction for the motor strictly according to the rotation direction indicating mark, so as to avoid any damages of the equipment.
Prevent tramp metals or other foreign sundries from entering the grinding chamber, so as to avoid any damages to the hammer blades and geared rings.

Introduction on Extruding Principle
Firstly, the materials prepared and pulverized enter the feeding bin for bridge-breaking and are to be processed. When working, the feeder of the extruder continuously feeds the material in bridge-breaking feeding bin to the different diameter cylinder conditioner for conditioning, adds evenly, the continuous and metered steam, water and other liquids into conditioner while material is entering into it.
The material being conditioned for a certain period enters the feeding section of the extruding assembly for extruding, the material is conveyed from the feeding section, and the feeding section on the extruding machinery is mainly used for conveying the material to kneading section and primarily compressing the material; in the kneading section, the material will be gradually ripened or dissolved through strong stirring, mixing and cutting; the pressure and temperature will rise gradually after entering the final ripening section, and the material will be ripened further, the starch will be gelatinized further, the fat and protein will be modified and homogenized to form a non-crystal texture; finally, the material will be extruded and cut into shapes through the discharging assembly.
Three sections of extruding assembly can be adjusted as required by the production. The screw conveys the material to the whole expanding chamber, the mechanical energy of rotating screw will be transformed as heat energy through abrasion between material and parts of the extruder as well as internal abrasion of material. The rotating speed of the extruding screw is adjustable, and therefore, it is possible to adjust the extruding effect during the process according to processing requirement, so as to control the product density and ripeness.
When material is extruded to pass through the die holes in the end of the extruding machine chamber, doughy material will be processed to a certain shape. Because of the great push and mix of screw in the machine chamber, a certain pressure and temperature will be formed in material, so that the material will expand greatly when extruded from the die holes or when most of water is evaporated momentarily or lightly expanded because less water is lost. This can be realized through strictly control each operation parameter as required.
During production, material will be greatly expanded and kept in a corresponding shape and dimension depending on structural features of material.
