Muyang Automatic Feeder

This Muyang automatic feeder mainly consists of a box body, a feeding roll, an adjusting plate, a magnetic gate mechanism, an impurity discharging hopper and others, as shown in Fig. 1.


Working principle

The material enters the trough of the feeding roll from top and is brought to the material outlet through a rotary roll and an adjusting plate, therefore, the feeding is continuous and uniform. A plate magnetic separator is mounted near the material outlet and can remove iron impurity from materials.

The feeding amount can be automatically adjusted. The control principle is as follows: A sensor detects the working current of the grinding machine real time, and transmits the signals to the controller of frequency conversion motor of the feeder, and then adjust the opening of the adjusting plate and the rotating speed of the frequency conversion motor through comparison with set current, so as to automatically control the feeding amount.

Installation procedures, methods and attention points

For installing the principal machine of the feeder, flanges are all used for jointing the upper inlet with the gate and the lower outlet with the hammer mill. A soft connection is recommended and the machine body should be kept horizontal. After installation, the feeding roll should be checked whether it rotates in the box body flexibly without any hindrance.

It is recommended to hang the controller onto the wall in the power distribution room for the grinding machine, and the screen is about 1.6m apart from the ground, for the convenience of operation and maintenance.

The current transformer delivered together with the controller should be mounted in the power distribution cabinet for the grinding machinery, and any one of power lines L1, L2 or L3 for the grinding machine should pass through the mutual inducting coil.

Muyang Chaoyue SWFP Series Fine-grinding Hammer Mill

"Chaoyue" Series Fine-grinding Hammer mills can be used for grinding various granular feedstuffs, such as corn, sorghum, wheat, crumbled oil meals and etc. They are applicable for grinding granular raw materials in various large- and medium-sized livestock feed mills, alcohol plants, citric acid plants, food factories and cooking oil mills.

With advanced design of water-drop shaped grinding chamber and structural configuration for regrinding, it is good for increasing the machine's capacity. Optimized array of hammers makes the capacity higher. The design for air supplementing in axial direction effectively destroys the circumfluent material layer, it is of the benefit of grinding and screening, and it also do good to bearing cooling. Various accurate detection instruments including dynamic balancing device with high precision ensure much smoother running, lower noise level and more perfect performance.


The rotor on the hammer mill which is capable of both coronation and reversion greatly increases the service life of wearing parts. With the movable full-size access door and interlock device ensure safety and operational convenience. The coupled screen holding-down mechanism makes the screen segments be replaced conveniently and reliably. Equipped with the feeder of either advanced converter impeller type or automatic type, the grinding machinery works more reliably. The gap between hammers and screen can be adjusted to suit the highly efficient grinding of different materials. In order to bring the performance of the hammer mill into a full play, it is recommended that the feeding inlet size shall not be over 8mm and material moisture content shall not be more than 16%.

Adjustment on SFSP66K/A Series Paddy Husk Hammer Mill

SFSP paddy husk hammer mill is a special paddy husk grinding machine and used as associated equipment of the rice mill and used for grinding of other paddy husk concerned.

Adjustment of hammers: the hammer in rotor is arranged symmetrically. When installing the hammers, which must be arranged strictly according to requirements, the different weight of two groups of correspondent hammers must be not more than 2 g, two edges of hammer can be used for grinding. After two angles of hammer are worn, replace this hammer. In order to apply the hammer and sieve plate much better, it is proposed that the rotation direction of grinder rotor is changed once each shift for increase the service life of the hammer and sieve plate. When replacing the hammer mill, open the operating gate, loosen the handle of sieve keeping mechanism, put down the sieve keeping mechanism, loosen the bolts on upper sealing plate at two ends of grinder by inner hexagon spanner and screw driver, dismount the upper sealing plate, pull out the split pin on pin shaft, take out the pin shaft, and replace the hammer. After replacing, reassemble the split pin (in assembling split pin may be damaged, if damaged, it should be replaced), and assemble the upper sealing plate.

Adjustment of sieve plate: according to fineness requirement of ground materials, select the sieve plate with corresponding aperture. The sieve plate on the grinding machinery should be replaced timely if worn through or damaged, the sieve plate is set in from two sides and held down by hold -down mechanism.

Adjustment of gap between hammer and sieve: two sets of pin shaft holes are designed on rotor hammer frame plate, 4 groups each set. The arrangement radius of two sets of pin shaft holes is different on hammer frame plate, thus, one set among them used respectively will obtain 12mm and 10mm (ex -works 12mm) gap between hammer and sieve, which can meet the different grinding demand (generally, it is required that the gap between hammer and sieve should be processed based on ex-works gap, if find out the troubles such as sieve blockage and unstable electric current etc, or if higher demand for particle size, the 10mm gap between hammer and sieve should be processed).
